D Saradhi Rajan
Saradhi Rajan is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Cybele Capital Partners. He is a highly experienced mining financier, principal investor, fund manager and investment banker.
Since 2014, Saradhi has acted as CEO of Legacy Hill Resources, a privately held mining sector investment company he co-founded. Previously, as head of M&A at Vedanta Resources, Saradhi led more than $20bn of M&A, acquisition financing and post-merger integration activities. Saradhi spent five years as principal at RP Capital, a $1.6bn hedge fund focused on self-originated illiquid structured investments in selected emerging markets. He has held various investment banking roles at Merrill Lynch, DLJ and Lazard.
Saradhi is a Chartered Accountant and was educated at Loyola College and The Doon School.
Johannes Petersen is a Principal at Cybele Capital Partners, responsible for sourcing and execution of transaction opportunities. He is an experienced natural resources professional and has been involved in the acquisition and development of several energy and mineral exploration projects in Asia, North America and South America.
Johannes has worked for LHR since 2014, acting as Head of Business Development. Over the last 17 years Johannes has also been involved in 10 different mining exploration and energy companies as a founder, director and executive, including most notably Alameda Minerals and Hainan Mining Corporation. In his early career, Johannes covered fixed income portfolio management and currency trading positions in Peru.
Johannes holds a BSc in Economics from Universidad del Pacifico in Peru and an MBA with a concentration in Finance, from the London Business School.
A recent graduate, Susan Kawczak is an Analyst in Cybele’s investment team, assisting in research, financial modelling and other relevant analysis. She provides continuous support to the team on pipeline development, transaction evaluation and execution, and monitoring activities.
Susan graduated from Coventry University London with an MBA in Global Financial Services. She also holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from Queen Mary University and a Bachelors in Accounting and Finance from Middlesex University.
