Philip Seers has has been a seasoned UK based investor, board director and investment banker for more than 50 years. He is a Trustee of the Said Business School at Oxford, as well as an active investor in a number of early-stage companies.

 

Philip was the co-founder of Phoenix Securities, which provided corporate finance services to the financial sector and private equity investment management, focused on mid-market UK companies. The business was eventually acquired by Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in 1997. Philip has also been a member of the investment committee of Phoenix Equity Partners, a leading growth focused mid-market private equity firm, for more than 20 years.

 

Philip was educated at Oundle School and read PPE at Balliol College, Oxford.

Dr. Stavros Siokos is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Astarte Capital Partners, a specialist co-investment platform, focusing on real asset opportunities that are towards the value-add area rather than core-infrastructure.

He has more than 25 years of experience in building and managing businesses in various areas of Capital Markets, Asset Management and Alternative Investments. Dr. Siokos co-founded Astarte Capital Partners in 2015. Previously, Dr. Siokos has served as CEO at Sciens Alternatives Investments, Head of Investment Management at Piraeus Bank, and Managing Director at Citigroup for 13 years. 

 

Dr. Siokos holds an Electrical and Computer Engineering Diploma from the University of Patras, Greece, a MSc in the same field and a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the University of Massachusetts.

Marcus has 25 years of experience in investment management, private equity and investment banking across developed and emerging markets.

He started his career in investment banking, working at Salomon Brothers, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Credit Suisse. He moved into investment management as Head of Private Equity at European Islamic Investment Bank and as Chief Investment Officer at two Middle East based companies. Currently, he is a Global Investment Director at Wildstone, a UK based digital media infrastructure investor with more than $300m of deployed capital. 

 

Marcus completed an MPhil in Management Studies at the University of Oxford and a BCom at the University of Auckland.

Bina Trivedi has over 25 years of private equity, investment management and restructuring experience globally.
